Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- A strong Clinical Fellow (CF) with excellent skills will be considered
- CCC-SLP certification highly desired
- School-based SLP experience or interest in serving diverse K-12 populations
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Professional communication, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfort adapting to varying caseloads and educational settings
- Must provide a screenshot of active licenses
- Passionate about supporting students with a diverse range of speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Document ongoing progress, meeting compliance and reporting standards
- Support IEP development and attend meetings as required
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding speech/language issues
- Deliver high-quality therapy services – onsite only
