Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Round Lake, IL

This position serves a small caseload of 9 students and is scheduled for the 2026-2027 school year. Orientation is planned for August 12–14. The commitment is 7 hours per week, ensuring flexibility while allowing you to focus on impactful interventions in a specialized educational environment. Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (proof required via state verification site)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois (proof required via state verification site)
- Certification as CCC-SLP or strong Clinical Fellow (CF) welcome
- Experience or strong desire to work with K-2 populations
- Commitment to onsite-only work (remote is not available)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to K-2 students in special education settings
- Conduct therapy sessions, write progress reports, and manage a caseload of 9 students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized plans
- Attend new hire orientation from August 12–14 to integrate seamlessly into the school team
- Maintain all professional documentation and licensure requirements
