Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as required for practice in schools
- Prior experience working as an SLP in educational environments preferred
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services and consult with classroom teachers to support students’ IEP goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of students’ educational programs
- Offer support and guidance to families to reinforce therapeutic strategies at home
