Key Qualifications:
- Holds a valid Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) license for Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience as a school-based SLP is highly valued
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with staff and families
- Skilled in supporting a range of disabilities and age-appropriate interventions
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities to help manage a dynamic caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an elementary caseload with students in grades K-4, supporting communication, language, and speech needs
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and therapy for students with a spectrum of disabilities
- Develop and implement IEP goals, monitor progress, and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Foster positive relationships, consult with staff and families, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Work collaboratively with educators and support staff across various classroom and small group settings to help students thrive academically and socially
