Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or pending ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- State licensure (or eligibility) for practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but dedicated clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs in the school setting
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Maintain timely documentation and progress notes according to district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach
