School Speech Language Pathologist - Rosamond, California

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience delivering speech and language services in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and IEP development for students with varied communication needs
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 60 students
- Effective communicator able to collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other support staff
- Organized and skilled in documentation and compliance with special education regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students TK–5 and 9–12, addressing articulation, language, voice, fluency, and related needs
- Conduct assessments, create individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Consult with teachers and families on student needs and classroom strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate actively in IEP and staff meetings as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
