Travel School Speech and Language Pathologist | Rome, Georgia
This opportunity features two distinct Speech Language Pathologist roles located in Rome, GA, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade within a supportive school environment. Both positions offer a chance to contribute meaningfully to student success while working with a collaborative special education team in a community known for its natural beauty and accessibility.
Position 1 – Compensatory Services (Travel Required)
- Provide onsite speech-language pathology services across multiple school locations
- Travel between sites to address and complete compensatory service needs
- Manage a caseload serving all grade levels, Pre-K through 12
- Deliver summer services from June 1 through June 30
- Maintain manageable caseload to ensure quality support
Position 2 – Elementary School Based
- Work onsite at a single school location with approximately 45-55 students
- Serve students from Pre-K through 6th grade
- Document services proficiently using the Paddynet platform
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Strong communication skills with parents, teachers, staff, and administration across multiple platforms including email, phone, and school communication systems
- Ability to coordinate schedules using Google Calendar for IEP meetings and parent conferences
- Experience conducting and documenting evaluations, eligibilities, IEPs, and data reviews
- Professional credentials such as SLP, SLP-CCC, or credentials in healthcare, pediatrics, or school-based settings
