Make a meaningful impact in early childhood communication as part of an innovative community-based assignment focused on ages birth to Pre-K. Two contract positions are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists, including opportunities for Clinical Fellows (CFs). This role offers a chance to deliver high-quality services in supportive daycare environments within the local community.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC or CFY applicants welcome
  • Current licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Georgia
  • Experience in pediatrics and early childhood intervention preferred
  • Comfortable with school-based SLP responsibilities, including IEP development and evaluations
  • Knowledge of teletherapy platforms is a plus
  • Ability to conduct Pre-K and early intervention evaluations
  • Strong documentation skills, including experience with Paddynet

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform early intervention assessments for newborns and toddlers (Babies Can’t Wait program)
  • Lead Pre-K evaluations and provide therapy services to children with established IEPs in community daycares
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and daycare staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Complete required paperwork: IEPs, evaluations, eligibility determinations, and data reviews in accordance with district policies
  • Maintain timely, accurate records using Paddynet
  • Cultivate supportive environments to nurture early communication and developmental milestones
