Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Rockmart, GA
Exciting opportunities are available for enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologists to support young learners in a community-based early childhood setting near Rockmart, GA! These two onsite contract roles are ideal for experienced clinicians as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs) seeking to have a meaningful impact on early development. You’ll be working with children from birth through Pre-K, offering vital support in a variety of community environments and helping families and educators pave the way for lifelong communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome
- Experience with pediatric populations, including early intervention and Pre-K
- Familiarity with school-based services/IEP processes
- Comfortable with community-based service delivery
- Knowledge of teletherapy is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct developmental, pre-K, and Babies Can’t Wait (birth–3) early intervention evaluations
- Deliver direct speech/language therapy in community daycare and early childhood settings
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support IEP implementation for Rome City students
- Manage paperwork, including IEP development, evaluation/eligibility reports, and data reviews
- Complete timely and accurate Paddynet documentation
This contract position offers exposure to a diverse caseload, professional mentorship for CFs, and the opportunity to broaden your experience in early childhood intervention. You’ll play a critical role in helping young children build essential communication and language skills in their most formative years.
