Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license and/or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach to working with elementary-age students and partnering with educators
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare necessary reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
- Provide direct and consultative services as required for caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
