What We’re Looking For:
- Active North Carolina DPI SLP licensure (must provide verification)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in school-based SLP roles is highly desired
- Proficiency with ECATS data system is required
- Experience writing IEPs, conducting assessments, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person speech-language services to a diverse K–8 caseload (currently 39 students, max 50)
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Conduct speech evaluations, screenings, and report writing as part of the IEP process
- Develop individualized present level of performance summaries and annual goals
- Monitor student progress and adapt intervention strategies as needed
- Maintain documentation and updates via ECATS in accordance with district standards
