We're seeking a dedicated professional to provide vital speech-language services to a diverse caseload in a dynamic educational setting. Your role will make a direct impact, collaborating with colleagues and families to help students communicate confidently and succeed academically.

Key Qualities & Required Experience:

  • Active NCDPI SLP License (must attach current state licensure)
  • Minimum: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Demonstrated experience providing speech therapy in school settings
  • Proficiency with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, goal writing, and evaluation/report procedures

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person speech and language services to a caseload (no more than 50 students, currently 39)
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings for assigned students
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and targeted screenings
  • Develop individualized present levels of performance and annual goals for students
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure holistic student support

Assignment Details:

  • Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours/week, August 4, 2026 – May 28, 2027
  • Located within a vibrant middle school community
  • One available position – interviews conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams
