School Speech Language Pathologist - Rocklin, CA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-27 school year. Located within a welcoming school community, you’ll provide essential speech and language services to about 30 students at a single middle school site. This role is delivered fully in-person, with the support and collaboration of dedicated special education and general education staff, as well as the principal.
Start in early August and make an impact through June. As the on-site SLP, you will play a vital part in student success, address diverse communication needs, and help foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all learners.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current California SLP license
- PPS credential required
- Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates with school-based SLP experience preferred
- Skilled in designing and implementing IEP goals for middle schoolers
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be able to pass fingerprinting/background clearance for school employment
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, therapy, and ongoing intervention for approximately 30 students at one school site
- Collaborate closely with special education, general education staff, and the principal to provide comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Adapt services to meet diverse linguistic, cognitive, and cultural needs
- Communicate progress and recommendations effectively with staff and families
