Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP licensure for the state of Maine or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially early childhood and elementary school students
- Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and implementation
- Ability to effectively manage varying caseloads and work with interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy for students in grades K–12, tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and track progress for assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ overall success
- Develop and implement creative, engaging therapy activities that address a range of speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance purposes
