Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CCC-SLP certification
- Previous school-based SLP experience, especially with K-5 students, highly preferred
- Michigan state licensure (or eligibility)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Self-motivated, coachable, and responsive to feedback
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to K-5 students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and session notes
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and parent conferences
- Deliver engaging sessions to promote students’ academic and social success
