Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role or pediatric caseload preferred
- Michigan SLP license (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and a responsive, proactive approach
- Receptive to feedback and adaptable (“coachable” mindset)
- Self-starter, able to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-5 students onsite
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain progress records
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and support students’ academic success through tailored interventions
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Remain organized and communicative, ensuring timely documentation and reporting
