Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure in Michigan
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload of elementary-aged students
- Strong interpersonal skills to support collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services and comprehensive evaluations to students with speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with education teams
- Maintain thorough and timely student records, assessments, and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
- Consult with educators and families to support students’ communication needs in and out of the classroom
