We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Rio Rancho, NM for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity to support students across a diverse K–8th grade caseload while working alongside a collaborative school team.
Position Details
- Position: School-Based SLP
- Location: Rio Rancho, NM
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: K–8th Grade
- Caseload Size: Approximately 40–50 students
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in grades K–8
- Conduct evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school-based professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and student records
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- New Mexico SLP licensure or eligibility
- ASHA certification preferred
- School-based experience is a plus
