This contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join a collaborative team for the upcoming academic year, starting August 17th and continuing through May. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in Virginia
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary or middle school-aged children, is highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Provide direct therapy and intervention services, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and fellow SLPs to monitor progress and adapt strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district reporting requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered atmosphere

Assignments are concentrated in a single school, minimizing commute and helping you build strong relationships with students and staff. The interview process is remote and will be scheduled as a panel or individual meeting the weeks of July 13th and July 20th.
