This role will work across one elementary and middle school, collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals focused on student success.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as required
- Experience working in school-based settings with elementary and middle school populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse speech and language needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a varied caseload of elementary and middle school students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and progress updates to staff and families
- Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and fellow SLP teammates to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt strategies for individual students
