Qualifications and Experience:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience in pediatric, pre-school, or K-12 educational settings encouraged
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Flexible and adaptable to meet the unique needs of children from Pre-K to 12th grade
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse backgrounds and needs
• Provide direct therapy services, individually or in group settings, for students from Pre-K to high school
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate strategies and accommodations
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and data collection in compliance with school policies
• Engage and educate families on techniques to enhance carryover of speech and language skills at home
• Support students' social, academic, and emotional growth through tailored interventions
