Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license for the state of Washington
- ASHA CCCs or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or interest in supporting K-8 students
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability within an itinerant caseload
- Commitment to promoting student achievement and well-being
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to a diverse itinerant caseload of about 30 students across both elementary and middle schools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments to evaluate communication needs
- Collaborate with educators and caregivers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and ongoing progress reports
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support speech and language acquisition
