Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP licensure for practice in Washington State
- Previous experience delivering speech therapy in school settings
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and implement therapy plans
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities
- Develop, update, and monitor individualized education plans
- Consult and communicate with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding speech-language pathology services in schools
