School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Redwood City, California

Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis, working 35 hours per week. You'll collaborate closely with a talented team of seven fellow SLPs, serving a high school and post-secondary population. As part of a dynamic group, you'll have the opportunity to share expertise, consult regularly, and make a true difference in students’ communication and educational outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for California
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Prior experience in a school-based or educational setting
- Comfortable working with high school and post-secondary-aged students
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy and intervention plans
- Collaborate with other SLPs to manage a shared caseload
- Communicate progress and strategies with educators, families, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Adapt services to best meet diverse student needs
- Engage in ongoing professional learning and team consultation
