Make a positive impact in the lives of elementary school students as a Speech Language Pathologist on a contract basis. Work with a dedicated caseload of 45-55 students spanning both general education and special day class programs at a supportive elementary school site located near the Redlands, CA area. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise to help children build vital communication skills in a collaborative and welcoming educational environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
  • Familiarity with a variety of speech and language disorders and intervention techniques
  • Strong organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and IEP participation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of 45-55 elementary-aged students
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support students’ learning goals
  • Maintain accurate records of progress, therapy sessions, and compliance documentation
  • Engage in parent meetings and share progress updates as appropriate
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative interventions to achieve positive student outcomes
