Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Reading, Pennsylvania

Ideal candidates bring experience in school-based speech therapy and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as a passion for helping children in educational settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ communicative growth
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Serve as an advocate for students with speech and language needs within the school community
