Speech and Language Pathologist in Bellefonte, PA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Pennsylvania (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with middle and high school students, is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students on your caseload
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs and track measurable progress
- Provide both direct therapy and consultative support, adapting sessions to engage and motivate students at the secondary level
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student academic outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
