Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in a school-based setting
- Experience working with middle or high school-aged students is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and support students’ goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
- Conduct assessments and update IEPs according to current progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic support for each student
- Provide direct therapy services both individually and in groups, documenting progress and adapting approaches as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student support strategies
