Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Monroe, Virginia

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or clinical fellowship year (CFY) eligibility
- Clinical experience with pediatric populations preferred
- Comfort with or interest in teletherapy platforms and technology
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Experience providing services in educational or healthcare settings is a plus
- Commitment to fostering student growth and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy for students in accordance with IEP goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct and consultative services in person and via teletherapy as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Document session notes, evaluations, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on speech-language development
- Stay informed about best practices in school-based and teletherapy SLP services
