Speech Language Pathologist in Lynchburg, VA

Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current, active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric and/or school populations is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Motivated to work both independently and as part of a team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech and language concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies
- Lead therapy sessions aimed at achieving students’ speech and language goals
- Track, document, and report on student progress with close attention to detail
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to offer coordinated, student-centered care
- Engage and educate families to foster participation in the therapeutic process
