School Speech Language Pathologist - Randolph, NY

Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in New York
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong skills in pediatric health assessment and medication administration
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to medical emergencies
- Clear and effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with Individual Healthcare Plans (IHPs) a plus
- Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to all health and safety protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily health needs of 12 preschool-aged students
- Administer medications, manage minor injuries and illnesses, and coordinate care according to each child’s medical plan
- Maintain accurate health records and complete required documentation
- Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and administrative staff to support student well-being
- Monitor and enforce infection control procedures in accordance with school and state guidelines
