Essential Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State
- Previous experience providing pediatric or school-based nursing care
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
- Collaborative mindset for partnering with educators, therapists, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily nursing care, administer medications, and manage health plans for preschool students
- Monitor student health, manage acute and chronic conditions, and respond to any emergencies
- Maintain up-to-date health documentation and records as required by school policies
- Educate staff and students on wellness, hygiene, and basic health practices
- Serve as a vital resource to students, parents, and faculty, fostering a safe and nurturing school climate
