Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Possess a current and valid SLP license for Arizona (or eligibility to obtain by start date).
- Previous experience serving school-aged populations, including early childhood and K-8 students.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload, including students who are medically fragile or have moderate to intensive needs (MOID).
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with faculty, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students at both a K-8 setting (.4 FTE, approximately 68 students, including 15 medically fragile/MOID cases) and an Early Childhood Learning Center (.6 FTE, approximately 65 students).
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate records, track progress, and comply with all state and district requirements.
- Support classroom integration and provide consultative services as needed.
