Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license and active Teaching certificate
- Completion of all required Pennsylvania school clearances within one calendar year of start date
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload with a variety of service needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students across multiple schools (itinerant model)
- Service all special education classroom types, tailoring interventions to each student's unique goals
- Collaborate with teachers, other SLPs, and support staff to deliver comprehensive and individualized care
- Engage with families and caregivers to promote generalization of strategies outside the classroom
- Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to IEP meetings, with assistance from an SLP Case Manager for administrative tasks
- Travel between school sites as required within the workday
This position offers a consistent schedule from 8:15am to 3:45pm, Monday through Friday, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking stability while working towards long-term student success.
