Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license and active teaching certification (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in elementary settings
- Ability to work effectively in various Special Education environments
- Completion of Pennsylvania school clearances within one calendar year prior to start date
- Strong organizational skills for managing itinerant caseloads and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students as assigned
- Provide services across all Special Education classroom types, adapting to individual needs
- Collaborate with other speech staff and classroom teachers to ensure comprehensive student support
- Serve as a case manager for students as needed, with administrative support for paperwork
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and documentation of student goals
- Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with school and state regulations
