Pediatric School-Based SLP | Sumner, Washington

Preferred candidates will possess clinical expertise in pediatric speech and language therapy, thrive working collaboratively with educators and families, and demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic school setting. Both experienced SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Washington State SLP license (required)
- Valid ESA State Certification (required)
- Experience working with pediatric and/or elementary/preschool caseloads preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based and healthcare SLP practices
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and effective therapy plans
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Teletherapy familiarity is a plus, but the role is primarily onsite
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students ages preschool through elementary
- Assess, diagnose, and document students’ communication needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough and compliant records
- Participate in team and IEP meetings to advocate for student needs
