This is an excellent opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a contract position in a supportive school environment near Putnam, CT. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Connecticut as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC-SLP or candidates eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience or strong interest in working with adolescent populations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to high school students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings to families and staff
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ communication needs in the classroom
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Engage in school activities and continue professional growth
