Take on a rewarding opportunity delivering speech and language services to students across elementary, middle, and high schools. You'll be serving a caseload of approximately 38-40 students, onsite throughout the academic year, collaborating with school staff and families to promote student success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultation for students across multiple grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to address student needs and optimize communication outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing trainings as needed
- Adapt and modify therapy approaches to accommodate diverse student needs
