School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Pulaski, Wisconsin
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in a vibrant educational community! An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) is sought to provide essential speech and language services across multiple grade levels. This onsite, full-time position offers the chance to make a direct impact while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators and specialists.
This role encompasses a varied and manageable caseload of approximately 38-40 students, working with elementary, middle, and high school learners. You’ll implement evidence-based interventions, support IEP development, and facilitate progress towards communication goals in a supportive environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC credential
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility prior to start date)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, ideally across multiple grade levels
- Able to collaborate effectively with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and provide individualized therapy to meet students’ needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Engage in IEP meetings and team discussions to advocate for student success
- Provide support and consultation in strategies for classroom communication challenges
