Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience providing speech and language therapy in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
Primary Duties:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with various speech and language disorders
- Deliver direct therapy in both individual and group settings across grade levels
- Consult regularly with teachers and families to support carryover of communication skills
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and comply with all regulatory guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to contribute expertise and help shape educational plans
