Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Providence, RI

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or eligible RIDE PK-12 SLP Certification (unfortunately, positions are not open to SLPAs or Clinical Fellows)
- Proven experience working in a school setting, preferably with mixed caseloads
- Experience with diverse and multilingual populations highly valued
- Comfort with assistive technology and AAC devices
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and individualized support to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and manage timely completion of all required documentation
- Set up and manage AAC and assistive technology devices for student use
- Advise parents and collaborate closely with classroom teachers, promoting strategies for successful learning
- Adapt to shifting caseloads and student needs with flexibility and enthusiasm
