Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) passionate about making a difference in students’ lives! This rewarding contract assignment runs from June 30 to July 30 and offers the opportunity to provide services for a diverse PreK-12 caseload in a supportive school setting near Cranston, RI.
You'll work three days per week, with approximately 12 hours weekly, helping children and adolescents improve communication skills essential for academic and social success. If you are credentialed as an SLP-CCC and hold a current Rhode Island SLP license, your expertise is highly valued.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Active Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Prior school-based and/or pediatric SLP experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support each student’s progress
- Document daily sessions and maintain accurate records of services and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
