Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Background in pediatric populations and experience in a school, healthcare, or pediatric setting
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to complete and interpret speech and language assessments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Assist in writing and updating IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Track and report student progress, ensuring documentation is timely and accurate
- Support students’ communication goals and contribute to a positive school experience
