Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active and valid state licensure as required by Rhode Island
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to work onsite; remote is not considered at this time
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs and student goals
- Maintain accurate, compliant records and progress notes
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
