Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is school-based and focuses on supporting students with a wide range of communication needs to help them succeed academically and socially. The ideal candidate is passionate about working in educational settings and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students with various communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Rhode Island SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs encouraged to apply)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
