Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Prairieville, LA

Key Qualifications:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Relevant licensure to practice as an SLP in a school environment
- Direct experience providing SLP services within school settings
- Strong ability to build rapport with middle school-aged students
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments and individual/group therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with educational staff and families to address student needs and promote communication strategies
- Serve as an active participant in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Travel between two school sites to meet caseload demands
