Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Donaldsonville, LA

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), you’ll work with a dynamic middle school caseload across two school sites, helping approximately 50 students reach their full potential. This is a full-time position, available to begin as soon as possible, and runs through the end of the school year.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC certification
- Prior experience supporting students in a school-based setting
- Strong understanding of speech/language assessments and intervention
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Reliable organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of roughly 50 middle school students at two different school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
- Conduct formal and informal speech/language evaluations and progress monitoring
- Consult regularly with educational teams to tailor communication supports in classroom settings
- Document treatment plans, session notes, and maintain compliance with school protocols and state/federal regulations
- Provide support and education to families regarding student progress and home strategies
