Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Washington state license or eligibility to obtain it
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate welcome
  • Previous experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings is highly valued
  • Skilled in delivering therapy to diverse caseloads across K-12 settings
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Serve as a resource to school staff on communication disorders and facilitate training as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere while adapting to the unique needs of each student
