School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification for schools
- Previous experience with K-8 student populations preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Comfortable working with non-verbal students and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Current state licensure and credentials as required for practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a broad spectrum of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educators and parents
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support students, including those with non-verbal communication needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Offer consultation to teachers and staff to support students’ communication needs across educational environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development as needed
