Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain necessary certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and deliver therapy from a strengths-based perspective
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Administer and interpret formal and informal assessments to determine students’ needs
- Design and implement effective therapy plans targeting a variety of speech and language disorders
- Maintain detailed, timely records in accordance with school and district policies
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure positive outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer strategies to families and teachers to support students’ communication goals outside therapy sessions
