Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP-CCC license required
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
- Ability to tailor evaluation and treatment to individual student needs
- Skilled in collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, time management, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services—in-person or virtually as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes, Medicaid documentation, and required records
- Participate in IEP meetings, consult with educators and families, and deliver training or resources
- Provide mentorship to support staff as appropriate
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
